Angela Watson has a Master's degree from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Additionally, she is a National Board Certified teacher. She's worked for more than a decade of experience as instructor coach, and over 11 years experience teaching in the classroom. Angela was a former teacher, who founded the website in 2003, was looking to offer practical suggestions for classrooms and encourage teachers to have a positive mentality so that they would enjoy what they do. The website was titled Ms. Powell's ideas for managing for teachers from 2003 until 2008. Then it changed to The Cornerstone for Teachers, in the wake in her book.
