Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her roles as lead actress in numerous television series and also for her powerful performances in movies. The audience for her work is the world of Canadian and American television. Emily started acting when she was 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie in one of Katie's film productions. When she realized her love in the world of acting, Emily enrolled in acting classes and began auditioning. After some commercials, which were successful, she was quickly booked in the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You terrified of the Dark? One scene in which she was seen without saying a word. When she was fifteen, Emily made her big breakthrough after she was made regular on the WB Television program Glory Days. Emily's talents was noticed by Greg Berlanti after the show was cancelled after just nine episodes. He cast Emily as a character on Everwood, his new TV show. Emily is also a dancer also a photographer, and was listed as among the top 20 Teen's actresses. In Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 placed Emily at number 51.
