Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast to get a flawless score of 10 points in the Olympic competition. Bela Karalyi stumbled upon Comaneci at age six. She would later become the coach for Romania's gymnastics. In 1969, she competed at the Romanian Junior Olympics and placed 13th. In 1970, she won the title. She won three golds in her debut competition which was a junior Olympic meet in 1972, which was a communist-controlled countries. In 1973 and 1974, she became the junior all-around champion. At her first competition as a senior in 1975 she beat out Russian Lyudmila Turishcheva. She was the five-time European champion, winning 4 gold medals and one silver. She took home the American Cup in New York City in 1976 becoming the first woman to attempt backward double salto as an unmounting from bar that is uneven. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career in the entertainment industry began during her teen years when she began performing as a figure skater along with her cousin Nina Wayne as part of the show that travels known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on September 6 1942 within Chicago Illinois US. Carol entered the world of entertainment during her teenage years. In her early years she began her journey as a figure skating performer with Nina Wayne in the travelling show called Ice Capades. The shows featured theatrical ice-skating performance.
