April Lockhart

April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began piano and guitar lessons in seventh grade. This sparked her interest. April's very first song was called Different, which she wrote when she was 12 years old. At the age of 14 April was a big devotee of her day creating and playing with songs. She began writing along with her dad at home in NY and LA within a short time. April also began incorporating various other topics relevant to the"Take my Hand song for some close friends, like peer pressure disabilities and teen suicide. Lockhart works in partnerships at popular cosmetics brand Ilia and also is a lifestyle influencer with a huge following of her own. Her birthplace didn't come with a left-hand, which is the reason she's who she is. But that's far from all the facts. Lockhart's Instagram profile doesn't cover up her disability, but it does not concentrate solely on it. The point? That we all contain multitudes that our identities are complex and we're more than our physical selves. Lockhart is interviewed via video in Nashville. "I do not want it to define my personal life. I'm not looking to be only recognized as an expert in disabilities. The issue doesn't affect my everyday activities. I conduct the same way as I always do and have found my own methods to adjust. This is a major element of my life and it's imperative that we talk about it. Lockhart inspires us to keep moving forward with self-acceptance. However, she acknowledges going through phases with her body at times being unsure about wearing particular types of clothes which showed how much of her body. The woman now puts on whatever clothes she wishes and shares pictures on Facebook in awe. Self-love, she says, is a kind of journey. "I do not think that you'll be there," she said. This is, however, common for anyone that is prone to doubts. I think it is important to surround yourself with individuals who truly know the person you are.
