Katherine Heigl reveals that she grew up in a white bubble, and how that influenced how she raised her adopted multiracial kids. In an interview with the "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy" actress admitted her body didn't matter to her. But after talking to her adoptive sister in South Korea about how society was treating them, she became conscious of the differences they were. When I asked Meg about how she was treated at public events, whether with or without our parents, she said it was completely different. She responded "Oh sure! Every times!" Heigl said to Parents, "That made me realise that I had been so ignorant." She became enraged by the incident, and decided to channel her anger into help her adopted daughters. Heigl and her 13-year-old husband -- the singer Josh Kelley -- have a 4-year-old son together, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. Their daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is a Black 8-year-old girl they adopted in 2012.
